LGV Wines

All of our premium French wines come from predominantly women-led winery partners, who grow and cultivate their grapes using organic or sustainable farming methods. This combined with painstaking traditional methods, sometimes including horse plowing and harvesting by hand, ensures that you get the purest expression of the fruit and the soil. Made by female vintners, our craft wines are balanced and elegant rather than the bold, high-alcohol wines with all the same taste that you find in everyday stores.

Unlike large-batch industrial brands that often use pesticides and additives, LGV French wines are grown under organic and sustainable farming techniques to offer the purest taste. The majority of our wines are made from organic grapes without the use of hard pesticides or chemicals with certifications from international agencies such as Ecocert. The remaining are certified sustainable farming or high environmental value which implies no chemical substance that could damage soils, water or health is ever used.

Most of our wines do contain sulfites. Sulfites are a common part of the wine-making process and are a natural byproduct of fermentation. The certification made with organic grapes controls that the strict minimum (less than 10mg/L) is being used.

We work exclusively with family estates in France, with 90% of our wineries being led or co-led by women. We also focus on wines made with organic grapes which means no pesticide or chemical or additive are ever used. Our vintners manually prune their vines, and harvest the grapes by hand (no machines here) in order to protect the vines and select the very best grapes

LGV is proud to bring you the best of France in your cabinet. Our collection covers the main varietals, such as chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, cabernet sauvignon, merlot, cabernet franc and chenin blanc. Our partner vineyards cover the whole of France including Bordeaux, Pays d’Oc, Provence and Loire Valley and include famous parcels such as Haut-Medoc Bandol or Anjou. Most of our wines are in dry style though we do have a slightly sweet white and rosé.

Our proprietary 6.3oz bottles are made of shatter-proof, double sided, recyclable PET. We received a grant from the Region of Burgundy to develop special bottles that combine convenient great design with the technology to preserve all the wines aromas. We used recycled and recyclable material to produce our packaging and encourage you to recycle them after use (and give them a third life at least!).

At the moment our wines are available in 100 World Market locations across California, Oregon, Washington State, Texas, and in the beautiful dining venues at the Newark airport as well as a handful of gourmet tables and 5-star hotels, with more retail locations coming soon. They retail from $20 per 4-pack ($4.99 per bottle) for our most affordable wines, $25 for our wines made with organic grapes ($6.25 per bottle) and $30 for our special parcels and cru selection ($7.50 per bottle).

We are happy to say that we ship to most states in the USA, including Washington, DC. To be specific, we are able to ship to: AZ, CA, CO, CT, DE, DC, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, KS, ME, MD, MA, MI, MN, MO, MT, NE, NV, NJ, NM, NY, NC, OH, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, VA, WA, WV, WI, and WY. If you don’t see your state on that list it means we can not ship to you due to state regulations.

We are required by law to make sure someone 21 or older signs for the wine, so we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes.

It typically takes 5 to 10 business days. We process your order in our warehouse in Southern California each Wednesday. Your package will then be delivered on Thursday via UPS. You will receive a notification with tracking information (typically on Thursday night or Friday morning). Once you receive your notice, it will take 1 to 5 business days to reach you (typically less than 48 hours on the West Coast).

We ship our wines in beautiful little boxes containing each 4 bottles (which is our minimum order size). These boxes are made of recycled carto and delivered to your door by FedEx. We will provide your tracking number so that you can ensure you are at home to sign the package.

Yes. An adult over 21 years of age, with a valid ID, must be present to sign for the delivery. To ensure that your package is received in the event that you are unable to sign for it, try sending it to your place of work where someone over 21 can sign for it, or a FedEx Office location where you will have more flexibility to pick up your order at your convenience.

If you are not home to sign for the package, you can click on the tracking number from your consumer dashboard here: https://lgvwines.com/my-account. Then go below the delivery address and click on “Manage Delivery”. From there you can select “hold at a drop off location” and FedEx will hold the package at a location where you can pick up your wines.

In the unfortunate event that your package arrives damaged or missing some of your great wines, please contact our customer service with your order number and a picture of the damage and we will coordinate a refund, or ship you a replacement free of charge.
